PHILOSOPHY

As a lifelong learner with a multicultural background, I believe that every individual comes with a story that needs to be told. My objective as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to help guide each individual to realize their narrative by utilizing individualized tools and resources to navigate their mental fitness journey. I intend to meet you where you are in your process and to support you while carefully considering your goals, aspirations, limitations, and fears alike. I employ a collaborative approach that is trauma-informed recognizing YOU as the expert on YOU. I look forward to learning and growing alongside each person and respective family, aiding in the mitigation of the mental health challenges that we all face to varying degrees.  I welcome all patients regardless of age, race, cultural/national background, or sexual orientation/identity.

BIO

I spent my pre-teen years in Guyana, South America then moved to rural Pennsylvania in 2004 which lead to colorful life experiences that have taken me around the USA and worldwide. I love traveling and meeting new people and am always looking to dive into new cultures and learn different perspectives. I truly enjoy deep conversations and time spent with friends and family. Find me road biking alone to clear my thoughts, hyping up friends for karaoke, exploring new restaurants, or getting in a therapeutic (for me) gym session! Always looking for new adventures while trying to remain present and grounded.
