PHILOSOPHY

Collaboration is central to my approach to mental healthcare. I invite you to bring your goals, concerns, and strengths to our conversation about how to support your optimal mental health. Factors I contribute include evidence-based treatment options, empathetic attunement to your experience, and consideration of your life context and how that may relate to your mental health. While mental health medication and therapy are core treatment options in many instances, we may also explore other broader health factors to the extent that they align with your goals and support your mental wellness.

 

My scope of practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. I am currently working with adults from 18-65 years of age. I consider it an honor to work with clients, and I welcome anyone, inclusive of any racial, cultural, or sexual orientation/identity to join me in this work.

My values and relationships with loved ones sustain me in my life and work. Outside of connecting with others, I can often be found entertaining my three spirited cats, exploring a new interest in traveling with my partner, or searching out the best walking paths in Portland.
