PHILOSOPHY

I am a PMHNP prepared at the doctoral level, but you are the expert on you. With a background in nursing, I have had the honor of working with families, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I appreciate that our biological, psychological, and social experiences are deeply interconnected. It all contributes to the complexity of each individual and colors our perspectives.

I believe in providing a nonjudgemental space where we can collaborate on a plan that meets your needs. My approach blends evidence-based practice with curiosity, safety, warmth, and yes, even a little humor. I look forward to working with you.

 

BIO

I grew up in rural Mississippi and later lived in Spain for several years teaching English. After returning to the US I spent some time in Memphis before Portland tamed my wanderlust. I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking long walks around town. I believe life is more enjoyable with a dog, dinner plans, or a package on the way.
