PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to help individuals and families better understand what’s happening in the present moment and how their experiences, including difficult or overwhelming ones, have shaped where they are today.  My approach is collaborative, relational, and holistic. I center each individual’s goals, values, and preferences in treatment, including thoughtful conversations about whether medication is part of that path. I also consider the role of daily life, such as sleep, movement, habits, nutrition, and supportive relationships as essential pieces of mental health.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, and where you do not have to have everything figured out. I look forward to working closely with individuals, families, and community supports to build care that feels connected, supportive, and shared. I bring experience across inpatient, residential, and intensive outpatient settings, which allows me to meet people where they are, whether they are navigating new challenges or working toward longer term growth.

BIO

As someone born and raised in Oregon, I value the spirit of the Northwest. You can often find me skiing Mt. Hood, walking along the coast, or paddle boarding on a nearby lake. I am also a mom to a busy toddler and a rambunctious Border Collie, which keeps life outside of work active and fun. I enjoy cooking new recipes, baking, catching sunsets, travel, relaxing in a hammock, and spending time with my nieces and nephews, all of which help me stay connected to balance, connection, and bringing a more relaxed and human approach to my work.
