PHILOSOPHY

I strive to provide evidence-based, individualized care that is rooted in connection, respect, and curiosity. My philosophy is that each patient is the expert of their own story, and as your PMHNP, my role is to utilize my knowledge and clinical experience to partner with you in meeting your mental health goals. I understand that trust is built over time, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, heard, and valued.

I believe that medication and supportive psychotherapy, along with nutrition, sleep, and movement, are all important tools in caring for our mental well being. I look forward to working together to develop a plan that meets you where you are and supports your journey moving forward.

BIO

I was born and raised in southern California to a Cambodian-immigrant family with a lot of cousins. Integrity, justice, and kindness are at the core of my personal values. I love all animals (even the scaly and slimy ones), cooking for loved ones, and the horror-genre. Being a mom has been my favorite and most important job in life thus far, and being present for patients in their most vulnerable moments is a very, very close second.
