PHILOSOPHY

I am a registered nurse dedicated to helping patients achieve their best lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Over the past 26 years, I have developed strong skills in active listening and in providing empathetic, respectful care to every person I meet.

My experience includes women’s health, adolescent treatment centers, inpatient adult mental health, nursing clinical instructor, and nursing leadership. Although I have worked across a wide range of settings, I have always felt drawn back to mental health, where I can build deeper emotional connections, practice holistic nursing, support long-term recovery, and navigate the unique interpersonal challenges of psychiatric care.

What motivates me professionally is the opportunity to provide compassionate emotional and psychological support that helps patients feel less overwhelmed and more in control of their health.

Outside of work, I enjoy searching for the best sushi in Portland, attending women’s sporting events, listening to 90’s R&B and country music, and staying up late working on puzzles with my spouse.
